At first, I couldn't imagine only choosing ten. My original list had seventeen debuts I'm psyched for. But in order to get it down to ten, I first got rid of the three I just got in the mail, and decided only to put the ones I don't own yet. And then, I somehow managed to narrow the list down to only ten. So here they are - the 2013 debuts I'm dying to read.
Top Ten 2013 Debuts I'm Dying to Read
- The Beautiful & the Cursed by Page Morgan
- City of a Thousand Dolls by Miriam Forster
- Dualed by Elsie Chapman
- The Falconer by Elizabeth May (no cover art yet)
- Ink by Amanda Sun
- Pantomime by Laura Lam
- Slated by Teri Terry
- Strands of Bronze & Gold by Jane Nickerson
- Taken by Erin Bowman
- The Ward by Jordana Frankel
Some of these are new to me. I have an arc of Taken that I can't wait to read. Dualed sounds really good. So does Ink.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog.
Lucky! I'm so jealous that you have a Taken arc.

We have a few in common for sure that are either on my list or on my TBR. I keep seeing a lot about Ink on these lists and now I'm curious!
ReplyDeleteALSO, loved your comment on my love triangles post! I responded :)
I love mythology/fairy-tale retellings, so when I heard that Ink was about Japanese mythology, which I know nothing about, I was so intrigued.

This week's top ten has made my tbr list a mile longer. So many great sounding debuts coming out this year.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. I feel like every time I read someone's TTT, my tbr list grows.

great list! I really want to read City of 1000 Dolls, it almost made my list too
ReplyDeleteThanks! I signed up for two different arc giveaways for the book, and I'm crossing my fingers that one comes through.

Ee, I'm so excited for these too!! For one thing just to have the pretty covers on my bookshelf, haha, but also because these premises are just getting so imaginative, it's awesome to see!
ReplyDeleteI love the covers too. Ink and Taken are my favorites.
